I was in a vehicle accident off 897 on terre hill rd. I was head on side swiped by an overside work truck. The officer that responded was a officer that was involved in a case i had in 2012 while he worked for another department. I was automatically treated badly i was physically searched and my vehiche was seached. He told me i was visibly intoxicated when i was wasnt. And the hole time he was only worried about me admitting i was on drugs. Then the person who hit me has a relative in law enforcement so he told this to the officer that responded and the officer walked me up towards where the accident happened and proceed to tell me how the accident happened like he was there and seen it happen. He told me i was looking down as i came around the turn and hit the work truck. First of all who looks down driving around a turn, second how are you goin to tell me what i was doing, you were not there. All the glass from my driver window was visibly on my side of the road. And this officer continued to tell me its my fault. Yeah it was was fault i called the cops to help that about it. He was very unprofessional and very disrespectful. Treating me as if i where the same person from 2012 most people grow n mature. I know i have. I have two years sober and i am a law abiding tax pay citizen. Who deserves to be treated just and fairly and definetly was not.
